Raeleene has over 24 years in the home-based sector and provides for both a play-based and intentional learning curriculum where children develop secure attachments and establish friendships with other children in her home and as part of the wider Pioneers Home-based community.

As part of a child's physical and emotional well being, Raeleene encourages all children to express their feelings and show consideration to their peers.

Raeleene encourages everyone to look after each other by showing kindness, generosity, sharing, fairness and cooperation and helping others with self care skills.

Outings in the community are part of her curriculum where the children attend Playgroups, Museums, Art Gallery, Library, Parks, walks and other special places.

Encouraging the children to develop an understanding of the environment and our part in it by recycling, gardening and becoming Kaitiaki (guardians) of our local area is very important to Raeleene as what we learn and practice today ensures a better world for your children tomorrow.

Music, Art and craft, Cooking and Reading are also important parts of her curriculum along-with the sand-pit, climbing frames, bikes, playhouse and the large secure outdoor area.

Raeleene looks forward to providing a fun learning environment for your child.
